Episode 32: Old Delicious Apple Brandy
Episode 32 features Old Delicious Double Bourbon Barreled Apple Brandy. A product of Hood River Distillers, made by their brand Clear Creek Distillery in Hood River, Oregon. A revival of an old recipe with a twist, this apple brandy is bottled at 42.5% ABV, or 85 proof.

Brief Historical Timeline:
- 1934 - Hood River Distillers is founded, making fruit wines and brandies from discarded fruit
- 1985 - Clear Creek Distillery is founded to make Eau de Vie and fruit brandy
- 2014 - Hood River Distillers buys Clear Creek Distillery
- 2019/20 - Old Delicious is launched

Old Delicious Old Fashioned:
2 oz Old Delicious Double Bourbon Barreled Apple Brandy
4 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 dashes orange bitters
1 sugar cube
Muddle the sugar cube with the bitters in an Old Fashioned glass, add a few drops of water to help the sugar dissolve. Add one large ice cube, the spirit, and stir. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.
