Episode 74: Damiana
Episode 74 features Guaucura Liqueur de Damiana, an herbal liqueur from Mexico. Bottled in 750ml at 30% ABV, or 60 proof, it retails for $30.
Enjoy this episode with a Damian Margarita (just replace the triple sec with Damiana).

Brief Historical Timeline:
- 1960s - Damiana liqueur is imported into the USA
- 1990 - The spirit is "rediscovered" on a Spring Break trip to Los Cabos, Mexico
- 1991 - The Damiana Importing Co. is formed, bringing the liqueur back to the USA
Key Cocktails:
Legend has it the first margarita was made with Damiana!
The brand suggests you try it frozen (put the bottle in the freezer, the liquid won't freeze solid due to the alcohol content). Also, try Damiana in a margarita, mix as you normally would, substituting Damiana for the triple sec/
